The international animal welfare organization VIER VOETERS is currently looking for an employee for the part-time (32 hours per week) function of:
Assistant Head of Programs & Volunteers Coordinator (m/f)
for our office in Amsterdam.
In this function you will be responsible for assisting the Head of Programs in the execution of projects, campaigns, actions and lobbying activities and the day- to- day procedures regarding the work of volunteers.
- Research for national and international campaigns
- Preparation of documents, letters and reports
- Correspondence and communication
- Taking on, guiding and supporting volunteers
- (Co-)organising activities in which volunteers are involved
- Setting up and sending the volunteers newsletter
- Taking care of the volunteers database
We are looking for applicants with relevant work experience and/or an appropriate education and training in this field of activity, with HBO work and thinking level. In addition to an affinity with animal welfare, we expect you to have a thorough command of the Dutch and English language as well as good communicative and social skills.
Furthermore, we are looking for someone with knowledge and experience in the field of voluntary work and insight in the functioning of a non-profit organization.
